 't Zeugekot is an active farm which offers stays in a holiday home. We offer a number of activities: playing and working with the animals, aiding in the farm activities, ... The farm is entirely fenced off, so it is safe for children to play freely.
 We welcome you to the farm with a small gift from the farm. In the rural character of the farm, we offer a number of activities. Kayaking, walking, cycling (can be rented in the surroundings), Plopsaland, Bellewaerde, the Belgian coast, museums, the Flemish hills, etc. 't Zeugekot is located near the French border close to Beveren aan de Yzer, Roesbrugge and Oost-Cappel. Beveren aan de Yzer is part of Alveringem. Roesbrugge is part of Poperinge. Oost-Cappel is part of the French town of Hondschoote. All three villages have their own singularities: Beveren aan de Yzer Is a very peaceful village with a bakery, a restaurant and a pub. People are always very friendly and helpful and have a good sense of humour A tennis court can be rented in the village as well. At 1 kilometre from 't Zeugekot, there is a horse farm named Nederhof. It allows horse owners to leave their animal in this residence during the warmer months of the year at a very reasonable price.The village has its own website indicating all activities as well. Roesbrugge Roesbrugge is a more active village. There is nursery school as well as a primary school, a restaurant, several pubs, a baker, a butcher, a grocery, several hairdressers, a beautician and a beauty farm. A more adventurous activity can be found at the Yzer: kayaks can be rented in the village. The Dode Yzer footway offers a great opportunity for a walk along the river all the way to the French border where it enters Belgian territory. You can then go into the direction of Haringe to return along the river again towards Roesbrugge. A 7 km walk along the river, fields and pastures. The surrounding villages and towns are a little further away, but every community has its own particularities. Alveringem An artisanal village where a lot of artists live. Poperinge The capital of hops. Proven The nearby village of Proven which is very fond of its local soccer team. Diksmuide Well-known for its war tourism. Ypres Home of the In Flanders Fields Museum and a lot of war graves. Worth a visit! The Bellewaerde amusement park is also located inYpres . This is about 25 km from 't Zeugekot. Heuvelland Great scenery for cycling trips. However, as the area is scattered with hills, this will demand an effort. De Panne Little coast town at about 20 km from 't Zeugekot. At cycling distance from the beach and the North Sea. On the way to the sea, you will come by Adinkerke, home to the Plopsaland amusement park. Prices

Visiting farm
't Zeugekot is a small company, primarily a pig farm. Some general agriculture is also part of its activities: 
Since July 1st, 2009 we also have a holiday home which can be rented. It will allow you to experience the true country life from close by.
What do we offer?A visit to the pig farm. Depending on the season, we can also explore some of the fields. We also give an introduction to the use of our solar panels and its return.For the children, we offer a fun educational game and some animation. Degustation of several dishes as desired (on request) with a typical drink ( 't zwijntje ) . Schools can hire information boxes to use in their class rooms. There are no translations available.  Op 31 oktober werd zoals bij velen halloween gevierd. Ook wij in het dorp deden er actief aan mee. Dus was dit eens de gelegenheid om de akeligste faces te maken op de gezichten van verschillende mensen. Mensen die elkaar goed kenden, vonden elkaar bijna niet meer terug. Het werd een waar succes. |
